Meet Adalis Ball, a LEND trainee!
Adalis started the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) course this semester (Fall 2021). Growing up, she assisted her uncle, who has Cerebral Palsy. She helped him navigate transportation, advocating for himself, and basic life skills and health needs. It was this personal perspective that led Adalis to join the LEND program. She has discovered there is a much larger network of individuals dedicated to improving the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Adalis was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and has a life goal of continuing her education as a first-generation college student. The three words she’d use to describe herself are: Adaptable; Ambitious; and Zealous!
Thank you, Adalis, for all you do with LEND!
