Atlanta, GA – It is our great honor to announce Dr. Erin Vinoski Thomas as CLD's Associate Director.
Dr. Vinoski Thomas joined the CLD in 2012 as a Research Associate. After four years in that role, she left to obtain her PhD at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and returned to the CLD in 2019 as a faculty member.
Dr. Vinoski Thomas is a highly productive junior faculty member and has supported many of the CLD's grant proposals - most of which have been outside of her area of expertise (and most of which have been funded!). She has deep expertise in the area of disability and health and her recently-funded CDC Disability and Health grant will define a new portfolio of work within the CLD. Dr. Vinoski Thomas has the unique perspective of being a faculty member who has also served as a staff member within the Center and she understands both roles. She brings a fun, positive energy to all the teams she leads.
