Meet Kathy Harlan, a behavior specialist who joined the CLD team mid-pandemic in July 2020.
Kathy joined the CLD team mid-pandemic, in July 2020. Meeting everyone virtually and learning the roles and expectations of her job while working from home has been “interesting”, as she is “a people person and value[s] human connections”. As a Behavior Specialist, Kathy is involved in many CLD projects, including being a PEERS facilitator, a Youth Mental Health and First Aid Trainer, part of the PBIS team, and working on Project SCOPE. Kathy has been married to her husband for 21 years, and their family includes three children, a dog, and two cats. She enjoys running, yoga, and Pilates. Her life goal is to raise good kids that are kind, have good values and appreciate each person’s individual diversity. She hopes to continue to support and advocate for individuals with disabilities. The three words Kathy would use to describe herself are: Humble; Passionate; and Clumsy.
Thank you Kathy, for all you at CLD!
