Meet Natasha De Veauuse Brown, a Research Assistant Professor at CLD!
Dr. De Veauuse Brown is the newest faculty to join CLD, starting January 4, 2021. In her role as a Research Assistant Professor, her focus is on the Center’s behavioral health projects. Natasha enjoys collaborating with others, “which leads to a positive impact in the lives of young people and their families.” Going back-and-forth across the country, she was born in Pennsylvania, raised in California, and has also lived in Louisiana and Alabama before finally coming to Georgia. Natasha has been with her college sweetheart for 28 years, and together they have two grown children and a dog. Some activities she enjoys in her free time are white water rafting, river tubing, and distance walking. After receiving an MPH 23 years ago, Natasha obtained a doctoral degree in 4 years (in 2019) while working full-time and graduated summa cum laude! The three words she’d use to describe herself are: Friendly; Fun-loving; and Hard-working.
Welcome, Natasha, and thank you for all you do at CLD!
