Meet Raynell Washington, a Research Coordinator at CLD!
On staff since October 2019, Raynell serves as a Research Coordinator, PEERS® instructor, and a 2019-2020 LEND Fellow. She evaluates the implementation of CLD’s Learn the Signs. Act Early. and Talk With Me Baby programs and assesses the impact they have on parent-child interactions, and parent knowledge of child development. Ray says that one of the best things about working at CLD is that “CLD has afforded me the opportunity to be included in spaces that have allowed me to learn and grow, professionally and as a person; Spaces where everyone has a seat at the table and an opportunity for their voice to be heard.” Born and raised just outside of New Orleans, she lets her Lousisiana love shine proudly. Raynell as two loving, supportive parents and an older brother who constantly pushes her to new limits. She enjoys cooking, and recreating some of her dad’s meals – with improvements, of course! The three words she’d use to describe herself are: Dependable; Fun-loving, and SPICY!
Thank you Raynell, for all you do at CLD!
