Meet Claire Dees, one of CLD’s Community Advisory Council (CAC) members!
Recently elected Vice-Chair, a two-year term on the Council, Claire has been a part of the CAC since 2013. Claire has lived in Gwinnett County for 40 years, with husband Mark, and currently resides in Suwanee, GA. She is the parent of 3 adult children, one of whom lived with autism until his early demise in 2011. Her passion is helping families live better and more inclusive lives in their communities – regardless of abilities – where all can live, work, play, and worship together. Claire is currently the Executive Director of Spectrum Autism Support Group, a non-profit organization providing support, education and resources for individuals and families impacted by autism. The three words she’d use to describe herself are: Committed, Calm, and Creative.
Thank you, Claire, for all you do for the CAC!
