Meet Taelor Moran, our AmeriCorps member and a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor at CLD!
Taelor joined the CLD this month, as an AmeriCorps member. She will be a Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) instructor in conjunction with the Project Aware grant we are a part of, disseminating YMHFA in communities through organizations such as schools, law enforcement, and foster care agencies, and serving as a resource to MHFA course participants on an ongoing basis.
Taelor was born in Los Angeles, but raised in Georgia, and has called Atlanta home for the past 20 years. She has four brothers, four sisters, and is engaged to be married in 2020. In her free time, she enjoys reading and working on her photography. A recent accomplishment is her earning her Bachelor’s degree in 2017, and hopes to continue her education soon with a Master’s degree in Public Health. Three words she’d use to describe herself are: Helpful, Careful, and Organized.
Thank you, Taelor, for all you do for the CLD!
