Meet Gereen Francis, a Behavior Specialist and newest staff member at CLD!
Gereen joined the Center for Leadership in Disability in November of 2017, becoming the most recent Behavior Specialist to add her expertise to the field. “I get to do what I love alongside amazing colleagues that motivate me to be a better person and employee each day,” Gereen says of her work at the Center. This work includes providing training, technical assistance, and consultation to early intervention, childcare, and school program personnel. She was born on St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands and has been in Atlanta for 16 years, along with her 9 year-old son, Elijah. She loves the variety of brunch spots the city has to offer and enjoys spending her free time playing competitive kickball. The three words she’d use to describe herself are: Happy; Helpful; and Humble.
Welcome, Gereen - to the CLD family!
